Lee Ritenour, Dave Grusin, Christian McBride and Chris Coleman joined by a 67-member Symphonic Jazz Orchestra conducted by Mitch Glickman, are performing “Symphonic Captain’s Journey” a tribute honoring George Duke this Sunday, January 18, 2015 at 2:00PM at Carpenter Performing Arts Center: The concert will also feature Christian performing George Duke’s epic “Bass Concerto for McBride.” The concert is part of the Carpenter Performing Arts Center’s “Arts for Life” free concert series – This is a free event but reservations are needed, and only a few tickets are left.
