A Celebration of Jazz and The Movies with Dave Grusin, Lee Ritenour and Earl Klugh

While music remains Weekend of Jazz host Earl Klugh’s craft and passion, several of his albums feature glimpses of another form of entertainment he is passionate about: The Movies.

Dave Grusin is one of Klugh’s favorite film composers of all time. Grusin produced Klugh’s first three albums, contributing arrangements and performances to the projects including Klugh’s first mainstream hit, Living Inside Your Love. As an in demand studio musician at the start of his career, Lee Ritenour recorded on several of Klugh’s early albums, and on many of Grusin’s film and studio projects.

“I am a big fan of both of Dave and Lee’s music as individuals and as a collaborative duo,” says Klugh.  “It will be very special to share the stage for A Celebration of Jazz and The Movies, especially with all of us having a great passion for the movies and the music that makes them even more extraordinary!”
